Aqua Aerobics

Well Now Health Solutions incorporates the long established aqua aerobics business, Aqua Action.AquaAct_Logo

Aqua Action has been operating in Gympie for 18 years and offers a variety of class formats. Classes vary from week to week and may include circuit, interval, general aerobics, themed or a combination of these.  Classes are currently held in a 25m indoor, heated (30*C) pool allowing classes to run all year (excluding school holidays when the pool closes).

The benefits of aqua aerobics include:

  • It builds strength, tones and improves flexibility all in one
  • You can burn up to twice as many calories in the water than on the land given the same duration and intensity
  • Aqua aerobics is high calorie burning during and after a workout
  • The water’s resistance against your movements results in a higher workout intensity compared to land exercises
  • The water’s buoyancy lowers the risk of stress-related injuries that some land exercises have
  • Is an excellent cardio-respiratory exercise
  • Is great for weight loss/fat burning
  • Is ideal for all fitness levels
  • The water has properties such as resistance, hydrostatic pressure and buoyancy that make aqua aerobics different to exercising on land

Aqua aerobics is a perfect exercise option for people of all ages and all abilities. It is ideal for people with chronic disease, pregnant, post surgery, musculoskeletal problems, post injury or improving overall health and fitness. There is a level to suit everybody. Read our testimonials
